The Future-Focused UTS Campus
The UTS campus has been reimagined over the past decade through our Campus Master Plan. The $1 billion-plus investment has delivered iconic new buildings (including the Frank Gehry-designed Dr Chau Chak Wing Building), major upgrades and our ‘green heart’, Alumni Green. Our UTS Central building, opening mid-2019, will be the latest project delivered under that initiative.
Our unique facilities are defining our vibrant, purpose-built campus. We’ve recently opened the UTS Tech Lab, a unique engineering and information technology facility designed to support integrated and collaborative research. We’ve opened facilities in Sydney’s premier sporting precinct at Moore Park where UTS students studying sport and exercise science, physiotherapy and sports journalism are embedded alongside elite sporting organisations, while our researchers collaborate with athletes and coaches.
Specialist facilities like these are changing the way students learn and providing new opportunities for high-impact research.
As best-practice in tertiary education continues to evolve, so will our campus. By harnessing opportunities to benefit from new technologies and enhanced design, we are ensuring our students and staff have the facilities they need to achieve excellence in all areas of their work, study and research.
