Maranatha Christian University, having been established for more than half a century, is the largest Christian university in Bandung, West Java. The Christian Life Values ​​(Integrity, Care and Excellence) become the fundamental values for the education process at Maranatha Christian University

Maranatha Christian University has 9 Faculties and 28 study programs, ranging from Diploma-Bachelor up to Master level. The university has been accredited by the National Accreditation Board (BAN-PT) and has received ISO 9001:2015 certification for each service provided. The faculty members of Maranatha Christian University are lecturers whose features are impressive in the world of education both nationally and internationally. Their works has brought about graduates who are spreading all over the world as entrepreneurs, educators, employees, experts, and others.

The education process at Maranatha Christian University emphasizes character education with the Concept of High Quality 21^st Century Education brought to life through Education 4.0. Allegorically, students are like seeds sprinkled in the education field, watered by inspiration, exposed to the light of science and technology, so that they thrive and become original figures with noble characters, creativity and inspiration; as well as the latest scientific knowledge. These figures then produce creative-original fruits that can satisfy the need of solutions not only for themselves but also for others; which in the end cultivate life stories that are flourished with inspiration. History

In 1965, Universitas Kristen Maranatha was founded by Perkumpulan Intelegensia Kristen (Christian Intellectual Community) Cabang Bandung with the support of Gereja Kristen Indonesia (Indonesian Christian Church) and Gereja Kristen Pasundan (Pasundan Christian Church). The university was initially made up of only one faculty: the Faculty of Medicine.
