Universitas Prasetiya Mulya upholds the belief that collaboration is important in today’s learning process, not only in terms of theoretical knowledge and abilities but also for the application of unified knowledge in business and the professional world. Universitas Prasetiya Mulya combines business acumen with engineering and science technology.

With the architecture of learning by enterprising Universitas Prasetiya Mulya and its owning institution, Prasetiya Mulya Foundation, have worked very hard in the last two years to establish and nurture an edifice of university learning which in the foreseeable future is expected to help strengthen knowledge-based businesses in Indonesia.

Universitas Prasetiya Mulya is the pioneer of the MBA program and a leading business and entrepreneurship university in Indonesia. The institution was established in 1982 by members of the country’s prominent business leaders with the aim to serve as an excellent center of learning for its partners: business entrepreneurs, professionals, and researchers.

In 2005, Universitas Prasetiya Mulya affirmed the dedication of the founders to educate young Indonesian entrepreneurs by commencing undergraduate programs. Since then, student yearly enrollment has been increasing, so more space was needed to cater the increasing number of students. In late 2009, Universitas Prasetiya Mulya built a second campus with a total area of 8 hectares located in a fledging suburban area in the southwest of Jakarta; Edutown-Bumi Serpong Damai (BSD) City.

The BSD Campus offers a pleasant atmosphere to study as it is located away from Jakarta’s congestion and supported by superior campus facilities. The new campus was built particularly to serve undergraduate students better and it creatively symbolizes Universitas Prasetiya Mulya’s high commitment to the high standards of excellence in the education and creation of successful entrepreneurs and business professionals.

In early 2016, Universitas Prasetiya Mulya transformed into a university of the future in order to respond to the diverse challenges of the 21st century by becoming the pioneer of a collaborative university in Indonesia. Universitas Prasetiya Mulya realizes the significance of sciences collaboration by establishing the new School of Applied Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (Applied STEM); alongside its long-established and reputed School of Business and Economics (SBE) and the Executive Learning Institute (ELI).
